Meet Our Summer Intern

We are so fortunate to have wonderful and passionate people like Angye join our mission in growing healthy food for hungry families. We run on volunteer power so every volunteer has a great impact and is important to our organization. ðŸ˜ŠðŸŒ±ðŸŒ±

“My name is Angye Zamudio. I am a part of the class of 2021 at Rhodes College in Memphis Tennessee. I will be double majoring in Primary Education and Latin American Studies. After college I am hoping to join the Peace Corps for at least one year. Once I return from my adventures in the Peace Corps I will be an Elementary School teacher in a Latin American country (most likely Mexico) or in my hometown of Waukegan, Illinois. One of my biggest passions is volunteering and helping others in any way that I can. I am also passionate about advocating for immigrant rights, education, and for those who are food insecure. During my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends, be outdoors, or read a book. ” – Angye
